Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Kamari Boyd, 5-6 Jr. Kennedy Coney, 6-0 Jr. Hannah Young, 5-6 So. T’laya Lyvers, and 5-5 Jr. Destiny Carter.  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-8 Jr. Rachel Blake, 5-9 Jr. Caroline Lynch, 5-10 Sr. Hannah Gadberry, 5-5 Jr. Bailey Browning, and 5-5 Sr. Suzanne Miller.

Henry Clay led 31-21 early in the third quarter but Lexington Catholic rallied, buoyed by a 19-8 advantage in the final quarter to earn a 52-47 victory.  Lexington Catholic held a 24-6 advantage in free throw points but Henry Clay held an 18-9 advantage in second chance points.  Lexington Catholic shot 36.4% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 24 of 37 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 32.8% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Devils connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 15 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Rachel Blake led Lexington Catholic with 13 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds despite being limited to only 14:14 minutes of playing time due to foul problems.  Bailey Browning added 11 points and Caroline Lynch chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.

Destiny Carter and 5-9 Jr. Kerrigan Davis led Henry Clay with eight and seven points respectively.  Hannah Young added six points and 16 rebounds.  Kamari Boyd chipped in with five points and nine rebounds.
