Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Tony Martini, 6-1 Sr. Matt Murray, 7-1 So. Raekwon Long, 6-1 Sr. Teddy Ware, and 6-2 Sr. Trent Gilbert.  Ryle coach David McFarland countered with 6-4 Sr. Josh Bellew, 5-11 Sr. Tanner White, 6-6 Sr. Will Stuhr, 5-7 Jr. Jake Puthoff, and 5-10 So. Tyrek Owens.

The score was tied 36-36 at halftime but Scott County pulled away in the second half to earn a 73-64 victory over Ryle.  There were five lead changes and five ties in the game.  Scott County shot 38.7% from the field including two of 19 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 23 of 34 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 22 Ryle turnovers.  Ryle shot 38.5% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Raiders connected on 19 of 29 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Scott County turnovers.

Trent Gilbert led Scott County with 30 points including 15 of 17 free throws.  Raekwon Long added 17 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Teddy Ware chipped in with 11 points.  Tony Martini recorded six points, seven rebounds, and four steals.

Will Stuhr led Ryle with 26 points and nine rebounds.  Tanner White added 13 points.  Josh Bellew recorded seven points and eight rebounds.
