Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Alex Polus, 6-1 Jr. Desmond Duke, 6-5 Jr. Jordan Fucci, 5-11 Sr. Blake Rose, and 6-0 Sr. Tanner Hart.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Brad Carter countered with 6-6 Jr. Matt Rose, 6-4 Jr. Benton Nighbert, 6-5 Sr. Michael Young, 5-10 Jr. John Stein, and 5-10 Jr. Joe Davis.

Tates Creek trailed 29-24 at halftime but rallied in the second half to defeat Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 71-64.  Tates Creek shot 55.3% from the field (65.4% in the second half) including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Commodores connected on 15 of 28 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 12 points off nine LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 41.7% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored six points off nine Tates Creek turnovers.

Desmond Duke led Tates Creek with 21 points including three three point baskets.  Jordan Fucci added 16 points and five rebounds.  Alex Polus recorded 13 points on four of four from the field and five of six from the free throw line.

Matt Rose led LCA with 31 points and six rebounds.  Rose was 10 0f 12 from the field including three of three from beyond the arc and eight of 11 free throws.  6-2 So. Trevor Hill added 12 points.
