Edmonson County coach Ted Hill started the following lineup: 5-8 8th grade Caitlin Simon, 5-8 Sr. Madison Rich, 5-8 So. Rachel Duncan, 5-2 Jr. Brandy Lindsey, and 5-4 Sr. Paige Carnes. Allen County-Scottsville coach Brad Bonds countered with 5-11 Jr. Morgan Rich, 5-8 So. Savannah Gregory, 6-1 Jr. Holly Robinson, 5-7 So. Jordan Brooks, and 5-7 Sr. Katie Young.
Allen County-Scottsville star Morgan Rich scored a school record 45 points to fuel their 76-62 victory over Edmonson County. Allen County-Scottsville shot 45.2% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line. They connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Edmonson County turnovers. Edmonson County shot 43.4% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc. They connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers.
Morgan Rich led Allen County-Scottsville with 45 points including four three point baskets and pulled down nine rebounds. Savannah Gregory added nine points, four rebounds, and four assists. Holly Robinson recorded eight points, 11 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Jordan Brooks dished out nine assists and recorded three steals.
Brandy Lindsey led Edmonson County with 24 points including two three point baskets, three assists, and three steals. Madison Rich added 20 points and 10 rebounds.
