Sayre coach Scott Sutton started the following lineup: 5-7 Fr. Sydney Strup, 5-7 Sr. Grace Rahman, 6-3 Jr. Gabby Bowie, 5-2 So. Hannah Brady, and 5-7 Sr. Molly Manella. Henry County coach Todd Gilley countered with 6-0 Jr. Megan Payton, 5-6 So. Cheyenne Clark, 6-0 Sr. Collenn Coomes, 5-5 Sr. Hailey Bramblett, and 5-4 Sr. Ashley Craigmyle.

Henry County led 38-22 after three quarters and survived a late Sayre rally to earn a 48-43 victory.  Henry County shot 33.3% from the field including one of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Cats connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 40% from the field including one of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored three points off 15 Henry County turnovers.

Cheyenne Clark led Henry County with 17 points and six steals.  Megan Payton added 10 points and 11 rebounds.  5-4 So. Sophie Hughes chipped in with eight points.  Collenn Coomes pulled down eight rebounds.

Gabby Bowie led Sayre with 18 points, eight rebounds, and six blocked shots.  Molly Manella added 15 points and seven rebounds.
