Sayre coach Scott Sutton started the following lineup: 5-7 Fr. Sydney Strup, 5-7 Sr. Grace Rahman, 6-3 So. Gabby Bowie, 5-2 So. Hannah Brady, and 5-7 Sr. Molly Manella.  Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom countered with 5-9 Sr. Lakeysha Stennis, 5-8 So. Markiara Smith, 5-9 So. Jamayah Fields, 5-5 Jr. Zaria Elery, and 5-9 So. Destiny Cozart.

Bryan Station captured a 64-62 victory over Sayre in triple overtime. The score was tied seven times and there were 10 lead changes in the game.  Bryan station raced out to a 29-17 lead at halftime but Sayre outscored Bryan Station 26-14 in the second half to tie the game.  Sayre had a chance to win the game with four seconds left in regulation but missed a free throw and the score was tied 43-43 at the end of regulation.  Sayre’s Sydney Strup hit a layup with 15 seconds remaining in the first overtime to tie the game at 49-49 and force a second overtime.  Jamayah Fields scored on a put back with one second remaining in the second overtime to tie the score at 55-55 and force still another overtime.  Bryan Station finally managed to capture the victory in the third overtime with a 64-62 victory over Sayre.

Bryan Station shot 27.5% from the field including three of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 63 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 43 Sayre turnovers.  Bryan Station held a 23-6 advantage in second effort points and attempted 39 more shots (91-52) from the field than Sayre.  Sayre shot 48.1% from the field including one of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on 11 of 28 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 31 Bryan Station turnovers.

Lakeysha Stennis led Bryan Station with 29 points, seven rebounds, and nine steals.  Jamayah Fields added 13 points and 24 rebounds, 18 of which came on the offensive end.  Destiny Cozart chipped in with 11 points and five steals.

Molly Manella led Sayre with 28 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Gabby Bowie added 22 points, 15 rebounds, and nine blocked shots.
