Shelby Valley coach Jim Hicks started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Andrew Newsome, 6-2 So. Hunter Swindall, 6-11 Sr. Cody Belter, 6-0 Jr. Dalton Richardson, and 6-1 Sr. Tyler Carr.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Brad Carter countered with 6-6 Jr. Matt Rose, 6-7 Jr. Drew Trimble, 6-5 Sr. Michael Young, 5-10 Jr. John Stein, and 6-2 So. Trevor Hill.

Shelby Valley defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 76-65.  Shelby Valley shot 46.6% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line.  The Wildcats connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 20 Lexington Christian Academy turnovers.  LCA shot 46.3% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 25 of 34 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Shelby Valley turnovers.

Tyler Carr led Shelby Valley with 30 points including three three point baskets, pulled down six rebounds, and dished out six assists.  Dalton Richardson added 13 points and Hunter Swindall chipped in with 12 points.

Matt Rose led LCA with 22 points and seven rebounds.  Drew Trimble added 14 points and seven rebounds.
