Clay County finished the game on an 18-2 run in a 67-38 victory over North Laurel. Clay County shot 53% from 2-point range and was one of eight from beyond the arc. The Lady Tigers connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers. North Laurel shot 21% from 2-point range and was seven of 17 from beyond the arc. They connected on three of nine free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and committed 18 turnovers.
5-10 Sr. Sara Robinson led Clay County with 24 points and nine rebounds. 5-5 Jr. Ajaycia Cotton added 15 points and 5-8 So. TaLaura Mathis chipped in with 13 points. 5-10 So. Kelli Roberts recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds. 6-0 Jr. Courtney Woods pulled down 10 rebounds.
5-2 8th grader Madison Shepherd led North Laurel with 11 points. 5-9 Jr. Hannah Gray added nine points and 5-8 So. Ashley Raines chipped in with six points.
