Doss vs. West Jessamine (Boys)

Doss started the following lineup: 6-6 Sr. Montrell Little, 6-0 Jr. Dajon McCarley,6-5 Jr. Tyler Jefferson, 5-9 Jr. Dujuanta Weaver, and 5-11 So. Will Maddox.  West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-4 Jr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Sr. Daulton Peters, 6-5 Jr. Dalton Crouse, 5-10 Sr. Lane Brooks, and 6-0 Sr. Will Henderson.

West Jessamine trailed 26-21 at halftime partly due to an anemic 21.1% shooting from the field but shot 64% in the second half to rally for a 68-54 victory over Doss.  West Jessamine shot 45.5% from the field including four of nine from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 24 of 31 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Doss turnovers.  Doss shot 40% from the field including two of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Dragons connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 18 West Jessamine turnovers.

Daulton Peters led West Jessamine with 23 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Will Henderson added 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Brooks Ely recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Tyler Jefferson led Doss with 14 points and seven rebounds.  Dujuanta Weaver added 11 points.
