West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Brooks Ely, 6-3 Sr. Daulton Peters, 6-5 Jr. Dalton Crouse, 5-10 Sr. Lane Brooks, and 6-0 Sr. Will Henderson.  St. Xavier coach Kevin Klein countered with 6-5 Jr. Andrew Marquess, 6-2 Jr. Lucas Miller, 6-7 Sr. Daniel Cecil, 6-0 Sr. Robert Shaw, and 6-1 Jr. Ashanti Burgess.

Robert Shaw hit a layup with two seconds left on the clock to give St. Xavier a 54-52 victory over West Jessamine.  There were nine lead changes and five ties in this game.  St. Xavier shot 42.1% from the field including two of 14 from the three point line.  The Tigers connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 18 West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 45% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on 14 of 20 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 12 points off seven St. Xavier turnovers.

Robert Shaw led St. Xavier with 22 points.  Lucas Miller added 13 points.

Daulton Peters led West Jessamine with 18 points and 12 rebounds.  6-2 So. Siah Holifield added 12 points and Daulton Crouse recorded nine points and nine rebounds.

St. Xavier (54) – Marquess 4, Miller 13, Cecil 0, Shaw 22, Burgess 5, McCormick 2, Olsen 3, Chambers 5.
