Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden started the following lineup: 6-4 Fr. Isaiah Patterson, 6-2 Sr. Ian Davis, 6-5 Jr. Jordan Fucci, 5-8 Jr. Martavius Carter, and 6-1 Jr. Desmond Duke.  Woodford County coach Scott Hundley countered with 6-2 Jr. Colton McCrady, 5-10 Jr. Christian Ramirez, 6-2 Sr. Zachary Pohlman, 5-10 Sr. Sam Souers, and 5-11 Sr. Eli Boggess.

Tates Creek led 23-7 early in the second quarter but Woodford County rallied for an 80-78 overtime victory.  There were nine lead changes and five ties in this game.  Tates Creek shot a blistering 61.9% from the field but committed 24 turnovers that Woodford County converted to 30 points.  Turnovers and a sensational 38 point scoring outburst by Eli Boggess proved to be to much for the Commodores.

Woodford County shot 42.6% from the field including nine of 23 from the three point line.  The Jackets connected on 19 of 30 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and attempted 19 more shots (61-42) from the field than Tates Creek.  Tates Creek shot 61.9% from the field including eight of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 18 of 28 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Woodford County turnovers.

Eli Boggess led Woodford County with 38 points.  Boggess was 10 of 18 from the field including seven of 11 from the three point line and 11 of 14 from the free throw line.  5-10 Jr. Michael Shelton and Christian Ramirez added 11 points each.  Sam Souers chipped in with 10 points.

Desmond Duke led Tates Creek with 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists.  Jordan Fucci added 19 points and 15 rebounds.  Ian Davis chipped in with 14 points and 5-11 Sr. Blake Rose recorded 13 points.
