Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch started the following lineup: 5-11 Jr. Sarah Parr, 5-8 So. Erin Muthler, 6-0 Jr. Malerie Martin, 5-6 So. Madi Woods, and 5-6 Jr. Hannah Bewley. Gilmour Academy coach Bob Beutel countered with 5-9 Sr. Kelsey Dugger, 5-8 Sr. Kelly Harrington, 6-3 Sr. Jess Janota, 5-3 So. Marisa Finazzo, and 5-8 Fr. Emily Kelley.
Mercy defeated Gilmour by a score of 61-31. Mercy Academy shot 36% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 54 rebounds, and scored eight points off 22 Gilmour Academy turnovers. Mercy held a 34-0 advantage in bench scoring. Gilmour shot 21.2% from the field including four of 27 from beyond the arc. The Lancers connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored five points off 18 Mercy turnovers.
Hannah Bewley led Mercy with 13 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. 6-0 Fr. Elizabeth Anderson added nine points and four rebounds. 5-3 So. Maria Schmitz chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.
Kelsey Dugger led Gilmour Academy with eight points including two three point baskets. Jess Janota added seven points, seven rebounds, and five blocked shots. Emily Kelley also scored seven points.
