Breathitt County coach Jon Collins started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Luke Chaney, 6-3 Jr. Braxton Whitmore, 6-5 Sr. Wes Noble, 6-2 Sr. Glenn Campbell, and 6-2 Sr. Chris Baker. Paris coach Terence Brooks countered with 6-2 So. Koebe Garrard, 5-10 So. Jawane Dumphord, 6-2 Sr. Cameron Downey, 5-8 So. James Clark, and 5-10 So. Jawan Dumphord.
Breathitt County defeated Paris by a score of 60-46. Breathitt County shot 38.7% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line. The Bobcats connected on seven of 18 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Paris turnovers. Paris shot 27.5% from the field including one of 13 from beyond the arc. The Greyhounds connected on 17 of 32 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Breathitt County turnovers.
Luke Chaney led Breathitt County with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots. Wes Noble added 15 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Chris Baker chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds. Braxton Whitmore recorded 10 points including three three point baskets. Glenn Campbell pulled down eight rebounds.
Koebe Garrard led Paris with 19 points. Jawane Dumphord added 10 points and six rebounds.
