Sayre coach Rob Goodman started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Henry Wolf, 6-3 Sr. Martin Durmov, 6-6 Jr. Quinn Pergande, 6-0 So. Alexander Webb, and 6-2 Sr. Justin Sanders.  Berea coach Cameron Jackson countered with 6-0 So. Shyiem Alexander, 5-11 Jr. Dustin Kates, 6-3 Sr. Trey Terrill, Caleb Goss, and 5-9 Jr. Austin Warford.

Sayre outscored Berea 27-18 in the final quarter to earn a 74-67 victory.  There were 17 lead changes and 10 ties in the game.  Sayre shot 63.4% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 17 of 26 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Berea turnovers.  Berea shot 43.9% from the field including 10 of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Pirates connected on 21 of 25 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 10 Sayre turnovers.

Justin Sanders led Sayre with 41 points including five three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  Quinn Pergande added 17 points and 10 rebounds.  Pergande was seven of eight from the field and three of four from the free throw line.

6-2 Jr. Andy Allen led Berea with 15 points, six rebounds, and four assists.  Austin Warford also scored 15 points including three three point baskets.  5-11 So. Bradley Atkins chipped in with 12 points on four three point baskets.  Trey Terrill recorded 10 points and four assists.
