Cooper coach Nicole Levandusky started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Kinley Zingshein, 5-7 Sr. Paige Ross, 5-9 Sr. Tasha Arnett, 5-5 Fr. Hailey Anderson, and 5-6 Sr. Katey Pittman. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-9 Fr. Lauren Boehm, 5-7 Sr. Danielle DeFoor, 6-0 Sr. Tereka Guyn, 5-2 7th grader Juliette Smith, and 5-6 Sr. Audriana Christopher.
Scott County defeated Cooper 80-75 in a game that was tied six times and had six lead changes. Scott County shot 37.3% from the field including two of 19 from the three point line. The lady cardinals connected on 28 of 45 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Cooper turnovers. Cooper shot 45.3% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jaguars connected on 24 of 39 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored eight points off nine Scott County turnovers.
Audriana Christopher led Scott County with 22 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Danielle DeFoor added 21 points including two three point baskets and four steals. Tereka Guyn recorded 16 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Lauren Boehm chipped in with 10 points and nine rebounds.
5-0 8th grader Lexi Held led Cooper with 15 points. Paige Ross added 12 points and six rebounds. Kinley Zingshein also scored 12 points. 5-6 Sr. Savannah Brinneman recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds.
