Manual coach Jeff Sparks started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Tabitha Mitchell, 5-9 Jr. Aricka Prentice, 6-4 So. Krystalline McCune, 5-4 Jr. Teanna Curry, and 5-7 Fr. Tonysha Curry.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-9 Sr. DaiJia Ruffin, 5-6 Sr. Raven Merriweather, 5-11 So. Maggie Colley, 5-4 Jr. Ashley Johnson, and 5-4 Jr. Gretchen Samsel.

Sacred Heart led 40-18 at halftime on their way to a 66-43 victory over DuPont Manual.  Sacred Heart shot 48.9% from the field including six of nine from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 16 of 22 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 20 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 30.4% from the field including one of five from beyond the arc.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 14 of 25 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 Sacred Heart turnovers.

DaiJia Ruffin led Sacred Heart with 23 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Raven Merriweather added 20 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals.

Tonysha Curry led Manual with 18 points and six rebounds.  Krystalline McCune added eight rebounds and six rebounds.
