Monroe County coach Dwayne Murray started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Lauren Turner, 5-7 Sr. Kayla Murray, 5-8 Sr. Kelliemae  Polston, 5-5 Fr. Reagan Turner, and 5-6 So. Payton Cloyd.  Allen County-Scottsville coach Brad Bonds countered with 5-11 Jr. Morgan Rich, 5-8 So. Savannah Gregory, 6-1 Jr. Holly Robinson, 5-7 So. Jordan Brooks, and 5-7 Sr. Katie Young.

Allen County-Scottsville led 30-16 at halftime and survived six three point baskets by Monroe County in the second half to earn a 53-50 victory.  Allen County-Scottsville shot 48.8% from the field including one of six from the three point line.  They connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored four points off nine Monroe County turnovers.  Monroe County shot 36.7% from the field including seven of 21 from beyond the arc.  They connected on seven of 17 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 16 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers.

Morgan Rich led Allen County-Scottsville with 17 points and seven rebounds.  Savannah Gregory added 16 points and six rebounds.  Holly Robinson recorded nine points and five rebounds.  Jordan Brooks dished out six assists.

Kayla Murray led Monroe County with 17 points including two three point baskets.  Lauren Turner added 16 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.
