Larue County captured a big victory with a 46-45 victory over a talented DuPont Manual team.  Larue County was 16 of 33 from 2-point range and 0 for 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Hawks connected on 15 of 19 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and only committed eight turnovers.  Manual was 12 of 24 from 2-point range and five of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Crimsons only connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and committed 27 turnovers.

5-10 Jr. Alexis Brewer led Larue County with 20 points and six rebounds.  6-1 Sr. Ivy Brown added 11 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists.  5-11 Jr. Alyson Yingling chipped in with seven points.

Manual had a balanced scoring attack today led by 5-4 Jr. Teanna Curry with eight points.  6-4 So. Krys McCune and 5-10 Jr. Elizabeth Schaaf added seven points each.  5-11 So. Syd McBlane and 5-6 So. Ami Ballard each recorded six points.
