LCA coach Brad Carter started the following lineup: 6-6 Jr. Matt Rose, 6-7 Jr. Drew Trimble, 6-5 Sr. Michael Young, 5-10 Jr. John Stein, and 6-2 So. Trevor Hill.  PLD coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-3 So. Darius Williams, 6-1 So. Justin Kelley, 6-2 Sr. Jordan Hurst, 6-0 Fr. Taveion Hollingsworth, and 6-0 Sr. Donnie Lewis.

Lexington Christian Academy defeated a cold shooting (26.8%) Paul Laurence Dunbar team by a score of 65-59.  LCA shot 47.5% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 23 of 34 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 PLD turnovers.  PLD shot 26.8% from the field including zero of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 29 of 40 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 19 LCA turnovers.

Matt Rose led LCA with 22 points including 11 of 15 free throws and eight rebounds.  Michael Young added 11 points and nine rebounds. 

Darius Williams led PLD with 27 points including 13 of 15 free throws and five rebounds.  Donnie Lewis added 11 points including nine of 10 free throws and five steals.  6-4 Sr. Vince Davis recorded six points and seven rebounds.
