Bardstown coach James Brewer started the following lineup: Jr. Nick Devillalobos, 5-6 Jr. Keanu Young, 6-7 Sr. Sevion Schooling, 5-8 Sr. Tavon Johnson, and 5-9 Jr. LJ Cowherd.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-3 Sr. Tony Martini, 6-0 Sr. Matt Murray, 7-1 So. Raekwon Long, 6-1 Sr. Teddy Ware, and 6-2 Sr. Trent Gilbert.

Scott County broke open the game in the second quarter as they outscored Bardstown 30-7 to take a 45-21 halftime lead on their way to a 79-40 victory.  Scott County substituted liberally in this game with 15 players logging minutes and 11 players entering the scoring column.  Scott County shot 56.4% from the field including four of nine from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Bardstown turnovers.  Bardstown shot 25% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Scott County turnovers.

Trent Gilbert led Scott County with 16 points including two three point baskets.  Teddy Ware added 14 points.  Tony Martini chipped in with 12 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Matt Murray dished out nine assists.

Sevion Schooling led Bardstown with nine points and six rebounds.  Tavon Johnson added eight points and five rebounds.
