Mercy Academy coach Keith Baisch started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Elizabeth Anderson, 5-8 So. Erin Muthler, 6-0 Jr. Malerie Martin, 5-6 So. Madi Woods, and 5-6 Jr. Hannah Bewley.  Assumption coach Steve Small countered with 5-8 Jr. Leah Mattingly, 5-8 Sr. Molly Steinmetz, 6-5 Jr. Nora Kiesler, 5-4 Jr. Cassidy Janes, and 5-7 Sr. Fran Deeley.

Mercy Academy defeated Assumption by a score of 65-45.  Mercy shot 35% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 20 of 25 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored two points off 22 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 33.3% from the field including five of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Rockets connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored two points off 11 Mercy turnovers.

Malerie Martin led Mercy with 17 points including two three point baskets, 10 rebounds, and four steals.  5-3 So. Maria Schmitz added 11 points and four steals.  Madi Woods also reached double figures with 10 points.  Hannah Bewley recorded nine points and seven rebounds.

Molly Steinmetz led Assumption with 12 points and six rebounds.  Nora Kiesler added 11 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Cassidy Janes chipped in with nine points.
