Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Kamari Boyd, 5-9 Jr. Kerrigan Davis, 6-0 Jr. Hannah Young, 5-5 Jr. Jazmine Richmond, and 5-6 Jr. Nakyira  Joyce.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-9 Fr. Lauren Boehm, 5-7 Sr. Danielle DeFoor, 6-0 Sr. Tereka Guyn, 5-3 7th grader Juliette Smith, and 5-6 Sr. Audriana Christopher.

Henry Clay trailed 23-11 in the second quarter and 44-41 after three quarters but they rallied for a 64-59 victory over Scott County.  Scott County was devastated by turnovers tonight but Henry Clay did not take advantage from the free throw line as they only connected on 18 of 34 free throws.  There were a total of 52 fouls (27-Henry Clay and 25-scott County) called tonight.  Henry Clay shot 30.6% from the field including two of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 18 of 34 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 29 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 40.9% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 20 of 33 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Henry Clay turnovers.

5-6 So. T’Laya Lyvers led Henry Clay with 21 points, eight rebounds, and six steals.  Kerrigan Davis added nine points and five rebounds.  Kamari Boyd pulled down eight rebounds and recorded five steals.

Audriana Christopher led Scott County with 23 points including 14 of 21 free throws, seven rebounds, and three assists.  Tereka Guyn added 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Danielle DeFoor chipped in with 14 points including two three point baskets and three steals.  Lauren Boehm pulled down 12 rebounds.
