Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Tony Martini, 6-0 Sr. Matt Murray, 6-2 Jr. Hines Jones, 6-1 Sr. Teddy Ware, and 6-2 Sr. Trent Gilbert Woodford County coach Scott Hundley countered with 6-2 Jr. Keenon Laine, 6-0 Sr. Samuel Souers, 6-3 Jr. Colton McCrady, 5-10 Sr. Grayson Graf, and 5-11 Sr. Eli Boggess.

Scott County led 57-55 after three quarters but pulled away  in the final quarter to earn an 82-65 victory over Woodford County.  Woodford County led 34-30 at halftime and there were six ties and 10 lead changes in the game.  Scott County shot 48.2% from the field including six of 22 from the three point line.  The cardinals connected on 22 of 30 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 40% from the field including five of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 16 of 28 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Scott County turnovers.

Tony Martini led Scott County with 21 points and 10 rebounds.  Trent Gilbert added 20 points and seven rebounds.  Teddy Ware recorded 20 points including five three point baskets.

Grayson Graf led Woodford County with 19 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Eli Boggess added 12 points.
