Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-6 So. Ross Jenkins, 6-4 Sr. Lance Blakley, 6-9 Sr. Jackson Davis, 5-11 Sr. Dequise Robinson, and 5-11 So. Harrison Lane.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Jr. Tanner Johnson, 6-3 Jr. Reese Ryan, 6-7 Sr. Robert Dence, 5-10 Jr. Michael Talbott, and 6-2 Jr. Jarod Griffin.

Lafayette closed out the game on a 12-3 run to defeat Lexington Catholic by a score of 63-56.  The score was tied eight times and there were five lead changes in the game.  Lafayette shot 50% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lafayette held a 13-5 advantage in second effort points.  Lexington Catholic shot 43.9% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on 15 of 16 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Lafayette turnovers.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 23 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Davis was 10 of 13 from the field and three of four from the free throw line.  Dequise Robinson added 17 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and four assists.

Jarod Griffin led Lexington Catholic with 17 points including three three point baskets.  Robert Dence added 13 points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.
