Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Kamari Boyd, 5-9 Jr. Kerrigan Davis, 6-0 Jr. Hannah Young, 5-6 Jr. Nakyira Joyce, and 5-6 So. T’Laya Lyvers.  Knox Central coach Darren Mills countered with 5-11 So. Mariah Barrett, 5-8 So. Melanie Gregory, 6-2 Sr. Tyra McNeil, 5-7 So. Taylor Patterson, and 5-4 So. Cassi Hale.

Henry Clay defeated Knox Central by a score of 37-25.  Henry Clay’s defense forced 28 Knox Central turnovers tonight and the Lady Panthers were limited to 20 shots from the field.  Henry Clay shot 29.3% from the field including zero of four from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 13 of 25 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 28 Knox Central turnovers.  Knox Central shot 35% from the field including six of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Panthers connected on five of 14 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored four points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.

T’Laya Lyvers led Henry Clay with 10 points and six steals.  Hannah Young added eight points.  Kamari Boyd pulled down nine rebounds.

Cassi Hale led Knox Central with nine points on three three point baskets.  Taylor Patterson added six points on two three point baskets.  Tyra McNeil recorded four points, four rebounds, and two blocked shots.
