Simon Kenton coach Jeff Stowers started the following lineup: 5-5 Sr. Sarah Tomlin, 5-5 Sr. Christina Cook, 6-0 Sr. Rachel Cox, 5-3 Sr. Abby Owings, and 5-2 Sr. Mackenzie Hester.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-9 Fr. Lauren Boehm, 5-7 Sr. Danielle DeFoor, 6-0 Sr. Tereka Guyn, 5-3 7th grader Juliette Smith, and 5-5 Sr. Audriana Christopher.

Simon Kenton defeated Scott County by a score of 69-62 in a game that had five lead changes and six ties.  Simon Kenton shot 32.2% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Pioneers connected on 26 of 34 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 20 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 45.8% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 14 of 28 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored six points off four Simon Kenton turnovers.

Abby Owings led Simon Kenton with 23 points including two three point baskets and nine of 10 from the free throw line.  Christina Cook added 10 points and six rebounds.  Rachel Cox and Sarah Tomlin each recorded 10 points and five rebounds.

Tereka Guyn led Scott County with 16 points and 11 rebounds.  Audriana Christopher added 13 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists.  6-0 Sr. Iman Guy chipped in with nine points and eight rebounds.  Lauren Boehm recorded nine points and six rebounds.  Danielle DeFoor also recorded nine points including two three point baskets.
