Tates Creek coach Wayne Breeden started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Ian Davis, 6-1 Jr. Desmond Duke, 6-5 Jr. Jordan Fucci, 5-11 Sr. Blake Rose, and 6-0 Sr. Tanner Hart.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-6 Sr. Jordan Green, 6-2 Jr. Jeremiah Tisdale, 6-3 Jr. Colby Barnes, 5-8 Sr. Campbell Setzer, and 6-0 Jr. Felix Wilson.

Henry Clay led 38-25 in the third quarter but had to withstand a furious Tates Creek rally to earn a 58-55 victory.  The score was tied five times and there were five lead changes in the game.  Henry Clay shot 52.4% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on only eight of 20 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 14 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 56.1% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.

Jordan Green led Henry Clay with 19 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Jeremiah Tisdale added 11 points and four assists.

Jordan Fucci led Tates Creek with 19 points, 14 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Ian Davis added 16 points including two three point baskets.
