Sayre coach Rob Goodman started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Henry Wolf, 6-3 Sr. Martin Durmov. 6-6 Jr. Quinn Pergande, 6-0 So. Alex Webb, and 6-2 Sr. Justin Sanders.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Brad Carter countered with 6-7 Jr. Drew Trimble, 6-4 Jr. Benton Nighbert, 6-5 Sr. Michael Young, 5-10 Jr. John Stein, and 6-2 So. Trevor Hill.

Lexington Christian Academy outscored Sayre 22-8 in the second quarter on their way to a 58-39 victory.  LCA shot 45.5% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored two points off nine Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 30.8% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on 14 of 26 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored eight points off 10 LCA turnovers.

Michael Young led LCA with 16 points and eight rebounds.  Trevor Hill added 13 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  5-10 Jr. John Davis chipped in with 10 points.  Benton Nighbert recorded five points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Martin Durmov led Sayre with 17 points and four rebounds.  Quinn Pergande added 11 points and five rebounds.
