Mason County coach Chris O’Hearn started the following lineup: 6-5 Jr. Dorian Henry, 6-4 Jr. Jake O’Mara, 6-7 Sr. Shawn Johnson, 5-10 So. Antwavon Williams, and 6-1 Jr. Cameron Frame.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Jr. Tanner Johnson, 6-3 Jr. Reese Ryan, 6-7 Sr. Robert Dence, 5-10 Jr. Michael Talbott, and 6-2 Jr. Jarod Griffin.

Mason County defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 61-56.  Mason County shot 40.7% from the field including three of 18 from the three point line.  The Royals connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 35.1% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored nine points off 14 Mason County turnovers.

Shawn Johnson led Mason County with 16 points, 15 rebounds, and five assists.  Dorian Henry added 12 points and eight rebounds.  Jake O’Mara chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.

Jarod Griffin led Lexington Catholic with 17 points including three three point baskets.  Tanner Johnson added 14 points and seven rebounds.  Reese Ryan chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.  Michael Talbott scored eight points and Robert Dence pulled down nine rebounds.
