Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-6 So. Ross Jenkins, 6-4 Sr. Lance Blakley, 6-9 Sr. Jackson Davis, 5-11 Sr. Dequise Robinson, and 5-11 So. Harrison Lane.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-3 So. Darius Williams, 6-0 Sr. Troy Black, 6-2 Sr. Jordan Hurst, 6-0 Sr. Donnie Lewis, and 6-0 Fr. Taveion Hollingsworth.

Lafayette defeated Dunbar by a score of 62-55.  Lafayette shot 34.5% from the field including zero of 12 from the three point line.  The Generals connected on 22 of 34 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 25 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 33.3% from the field including three of eight from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 30 points, 17 rebounds, three blocked shots, and four steals.  Dequise Robinson added 11 points including nine of 10 free throws. 

Darius Williams led Dunbar with 20 points and four rebounds.  Taveion Hollingsworth added 15 points including eight of nine free throws.
