Henry Clay vs. Bryan Station (Girls)

Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Areanna Porter, 5-9 Jr. Kerrigan Davis, 6-0 Jr. Hannah Young, 5-6 So. T’Laya Lyvers, and 5-6 Jr. Nakyira Joyce.  Bryan Station coach Shawn Ransom countered with 5-9 So. Jamayah Fields, 5-9 So. Destiny Cozart, 5-10 Sr. Victoria McCoy, 5-5 Jr. Zaria Elery, and 5-9 Sr. Lakeysha Stennis.

Henry Clay defeated Bryan Station by a score of 54-30.  Henry Clay shot 45% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 19 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 23.1% from the field including five of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 22 Henry Clay turnovers.

5-6 Jr. Kennedy Coney led Henry Clay with 16 points including two three point baskets.  T’Laya Lyvers added 10 points.  Areanna Porter and Hannah Young pulled down 11 and eight rebounds respectively.

Lakeysha Stennis led Bryan Station with 17 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Victoria McCoy added eight points.
