Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Rachel Blake, 5-9 Jr. Caroline Lynch, 5-10 Sr. Hannah Gadberry, 5-5 Jr. Bailey Browning, and 5-5 Sr. Suzanne Miller.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Nick Cann countered with 5-10 So. Abigail James, 5-8 Jr. Haley Strunk, 6-0 Sr. Holly Huellemeier, 5-3 So. Hannah Hartley, and 5-7 Sr. Katelin Bundy.

Lexington Catholic trailed 26-24 at halftime but outscored Lexington Christian Academy 20-5 in the third quarter on their way to a 52-38 victory.  Lexington Catholic shot 42.6% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 24.5% from the field including four of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 10 of 11 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Hannah Gadberry led Lexington Catholic with 14 points and five rebounds.  Gadberry was six of six from the field and two of three from the free throw line.  Rachel Blake scored 14 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Suzanne Miller chipped in with nine points.  6-0 Fr. Mallie Cornett recorded six points and six rebounds.

Katelin Bundy led LCA with 20 points including three three point baskets and three steals.  Holly Huellemeier added four points and nine rebounds.
