Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-6 So. Ross Jenkins, 6-4 Sr. Lance Blakley, 6-9 Sr. Jackson Davis, 5-11 Sr. Dequise Robinson, and 5-11 So. Harrison Lane. Lexington Christian Academy coach Brad Carter countered with 6-6 Jr. Matt Rose, 6-7 Jr. Drew Trimble, 6-5 Sr. Michael Young, 5-10 Jr. John Stein, and 6-2 So. Trevor Hill.
Lafayette defeated Lexington Christian Academy by a score of 82-66. Lafayette shot 50% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line. The Generals connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 22 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 41.7% from the field including eight of 20 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Lafayette turnovers.
Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 29 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and four blocked shots. Dequise Robinson added 17 points. Lance Blakley recorded 14 points.
Trevor Hill led LCA with 17 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists. Matt Rose added 17 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds. Michael Young chipped in with 12 points and five rebounds.
