Woodford county coach Scott Hundley started the following lineup; 6-2 Sr. Sawyer Scandore, 5-11 Jr. Michael Shelton, 6-3 Jr. Colton McCrady, 5-10 Sr. Grayson Graf, and 5-11 Sr. Eli Boggess.  Madison Southern coach Shane Buttry countered with 6-1 So. Stacy Burns, 6-1 Sr. Devante Linville, 6-2 Sr. Trevor Huff, 5-9 Fr. Michael Jefferson, and 6-0 So. Tanner Kidwell.

Madison Southern raced out to a 22-9 first quarter lead on their way to a 73-49 victory over Woodford County.  Madison Southern shot 57.5% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 21 of 28 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 13 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 25.5% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 22 of 35 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Madison Southern turnovers.

Stacy Burns led Madison Southern with 20 points including eight of eight free throws.  Devante Linville added 11 points and seven rebounds.  Trevor Huff recorded eight points and five rebounds.  5-7 So. Brandon Sargent also scored eight points.

Colton McCrady led Woodford County with 11 points and 13 rebounds.  Michael Shelton added nine points and five rebounds.  Eli Boggess chipped in with eight points.
