Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Rachel Blake, 5-9 Jr. Caroline Lynch, 5-10 Sr. Hannah Gadberry, 5-5 Jr. Bailey Browning, and 5-5 Sr. Suzanne Miller.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Sarah Bridenbaugh countered with 5-9 Jr. Nicole Armstrong, 5-6 Jr. Kristina Rosen, 6-2 Sr. Brooke Todd, 5-4 So. Ezzy Ighodaro, and 5-4 Sr. ShaKeema Jackson.

Lexington Catholic led 22-12 in the second quarter but Paul Laurence Dunbar rallied to outscore Lexington catholic 13-3 in the final quarter to earn a 43-35 victory.  Lexington Catholic only shot 16% from the field in the second half including one of 13 from beyond the arc.  The score was tied four times and there were five lead changes in this game.  Dunbar shot 33.35 from the field including two of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored four points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 23.2% from the field including two of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 11 Dunbar turnovers.

ShaKeema Jackson led Dunbar with 14 points.  Brooke Todd was a force in the paint with eight points, 17 rebounds, and 11 blocked shots.  Ezzy Ighodaro added nine points and four rebounds. 

Caroline Lynch led Lexington Catholic with 10 points and 10 rebounds.  Bailey Browning added seven points and six rebounds.  Rachel Blake chipped in with seven points and five rebounds.
