Breathitt County coach Jon Collins started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Braxton Whitmore, 6-2 Sr. Glenn Campbell, 6-6 Jr. Luke Chaney, 6-2 Sr. Chris Baker, and 6-5 Sr. Wes Noble.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Jr. Jeremiah Tisdale, 6-0 So. Isaiah Tisdale, 6-3 Jr. Colby Barnes, 5-9 Sr. Campbell Setzer, and 6-0 Jr. Felix Wilson.

Henry Clay took a 20-11 lead after the first quarter and maintained their advantage on their way to a 66-56 victory over Breathitt County.  Henry Clay shot 44.9% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 16 of 27 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Breathitt County turnovers.  Breathitt County shot 35.3% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Bobcats connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 Henry Clay turnovers.

Colby Barnes led Henry Clay with 19 points and 10 rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Dakhari Campbell added 12 points on four three point baskets.  Isaiah Tisdale recorded 11 points.  Jeremiah Tisdale chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.

Chris Baker led Breathitt County with 21 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and three assists.  Luke Chaney added 19 points and six rebounds.  Wes Noble chipped in with eight points.  Braxton Whitmore recorded six points and 10 rebounds.
