Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-3 So. Darius Williams, 6-0 Sr. Troy Black, 6-2 Sr. Jordan Hurst, 6-0 Fr. Taveion Hollingsworth, and 6-0 Sr. Donnie Lewis.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Jr. Jeremiah Tisdale, 6-0 So. Isaiah Tisdale, 6-3 Jr. Colby Barnes, 5-8 Sr. Campbell Setzer, and 6-0 Jr. Felix Wilson.

Henry Clay defeated Paul Laurence Dunbar 63-62 in overtime.  Jeremiah Tisdale hit a three point basket in the closing second for Henry Clay to tie the game at 56-56 and force overtime.  Jeremiah Tisdale was the hero again in overtime as he hit a basket with 12 second s remaining to give Henry Clay the victory.  Henry Clay jumped out to a 25-13 lead but Dunbar rallied in a game that featured nine ties and 15 lead changes.

Henry Clay shot 51.2% from the field including five of 10 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 16 of 31 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored six points off six Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 38.1% from the field including six of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs attempted 22 more shots (63-41) from the field than Henry Clay.  They connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.

Jeremiah Tisdale led Henry Clay with 22 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots.  Felix Wilson added 13 points and five rebounds.  Isaiah Tisdale chipped in with nine points.  Campbell Setzer recorded eight points including two three point baskets.  Colby Barnes pulled down nine rebounds and two blocked shots.

Darius Williams led Dunbar with 20 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.  Troy Black added 17 points and six rebounds.  Donnie Lewis chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds.  Jordan Hurst pulled down seven rebounds.
