Wolfe County coach Robert Creech started the following lineup: 6-2 So. D’Erien Richardson, 5-9 Sr. Garrett Dunn, 6-3 Sr. Jeffrey Terrill, 5-8 Fr. Jason Haddix, and 5-8 Jr. Bradley Lawson.  Sayre coach Rob Goodman countered with 6-4 Sr. Henry Wolf, 6-3 Sr. Martin Durmov, 6-6 Jr. Quinn Pergande, 6-0 So. Alex Webb, and 6-2 Sr. Justin Sanders.

Wolfe County raced out to a 23-12 lead but Sayre rallied in the second half to earn a 55-48 victory over Wolfe County.  Sayre shot 39.1% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 13 Wolfe County turnovers.  Wolfe County shot 40.4% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Wolves connected on seven of 16 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Sayre turnovers.

Martin Durmov led Sayre with 20 points including three three point baskets.  Justin Sanders added 18 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and three assists.  Quinn Pergande recorded 11 points and six rebounds.

Jeffrey Terrill led Wolfe county with 14 points and eight rebounds.  Garrett Dunn added 13 points and seven rebounds.  D’Erien Richardson recorded eight points and seven rebounds.
