Lexington Christian Academy coach Nick Cann started the following lineup:  5-10 So. Abigail James, 5-8 Jr. Haley Strunk, 5-11 Sr. Holly Huellemeier, 5-3 So. Hannah Hartley, and 5-7 Sr. Katelin Bundy.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 6-0 Sr. Sarah Cooley, 5-11 Jr. Dee Givens, 6-4 Jr. Ashanti Thomas, 5-8 Sr. Ken’yale Demus, and 5-11 Fr. Kiara Pankins.

Lafayette raced out to a 20-6 first quarter lead on their way to a 67-32 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Lafayette shot 52% from the field including seven of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 13 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 28.2% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on five of six free throws, pulled down 16 rebounds, and did not score on six Lafayette turnovers.

Dee Givens led Lafayette with 14 points including two three point baskets and five steals.  Sarah Cooley added 12 points, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Kiara Pankins chipped in with 10 points.  5-6 Sr. Shirlisa Demus recorded nine points on three three point baskets.

Holly Huellemeier led LCA with 11 points and six rebounds.  Katelin Bundy added nine points on three three point baskets.
