Clay County defeated North Laurel by a score of 68-54. Clay County was 19 of 34 (56%) from 2-point range and six of 23 from the three point line. The Lady tigers connected on 12 of 21 free throws, pulled own 37 rebounds, and committed nine turnovers. North Laurel was nine of 20 (45%) from 2-point range and seven of 26 from beyond the arc. The Lady Jaguars connected on 15 of 25 free throws, pulled down23 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers.
5-5 Jr. Ajaycia Cotton led Clay County with 23 points and six rebounds. 5-10 So. Kelli Roberts added 15 points. 6-0 Jr. Courtney Woods recorded 14 points and 13 rebounds. 5-10 Sr. Sara Robinson chipped in with eight points and nine rebounds.
5-6 So. Kayla Bruner led North Laurel with 21 points. 5-7 8th grader Hannah Lawson added 10 points. 5-9 Jr. Hannah Gray chipped in with seven points. 5-2 8th grader Madison Shepherd recorded six points.
