Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup:  6-5 Jr. Tanner Johnson, 6-3 Jr. Reese Ryan, 6-7 Sr. Robert Dence, 5-10 Jr. Michael Talbott, and 6-2 Jr. Jarod Griffin.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-3 Sr. Tony Martini. 6-1 Sr. Matt Murray, 7-1 So. Raekwon Long, 6-1 Sr. Teddy Ware, and 6-2 Sr. Trent Gilbert.

Scott County raced out to a 28-9 first quarter lead on their way to an 81-60 victory over Lexington Catholic.  Scott County shot 46.6% from the field including nine of 16 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 18 of 21 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 35% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on 14 of 24 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 18 Scott County turnovers.

Trent Gilbert led Scott County with 24 points including six three point baskets.  Teddy Ware added 13 points and seven rebounds.  Raekwon Long chipped in with 10 points and eight rebounds.  Tony Martini recorded eight points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.

Tanner Johnson led Lexington catholic with 15 points and seven rebounds.  Robert Dence added 10 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Reese Ryan also scored 10 points.
