Boyle County coach Steve Adams started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Clayton Ray, 6-0 So. Josiah Robbins, 6-5 So. Colton Elkins, 5-10 Jr. Chapman Bean, and 6-0 Jr. Hagen Tyler. West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley countered with 6-3 Sr. Daulton Peters, 6-4 Jr. Brooks Ely, 6-5 Jr. Dalton Crouse, 6-0 Sr. Will Henderson, and 6-2 So. Siah Holifield.
Boyle County raced out to a 23-10 first quarter lead on their way to an 83-75 victory over west Jessamine. Boyle County shot 57.1% from the field including nine of 20 from the three point line. The Rebels connected on 18 of 27 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored seven points off six West Jessamine turnovers. West Jessamine shot 41.7% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc. The Colts connected on 19 of 23 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Boyle County turnovers.
Hagen Tyler led Boyle County with 28 points including three three point baskets and nine rebounds. Tyler was nine of 12 from the field including three of five from beyond the arc, and seven of none free throws. Chapman Bean added 13 points. Bean was three of three from the field including one of one from beyond the arc and six of seven free throws. Josiah Robbins chipped in with 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists. 5-11 Jr. Keagan Hinkle recorded 11 points including three three point baskets. Colton Elkins added seven points, five rebounds, six assists, and two blocked shots.
Brooks Ely led West Jessamine with 19 points and six rebounds. Siah Holifield also scored 19 points including nine of 11 from the free throw line. Daulton Peters added 16 points and seven rebounds. Will Henderson recorded 16 points including seven of eight free throws and four assists.
