West Jessamine coach Damon Kelley started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Daulton Peters, 6-4 Jr. Brooks Ely, 6-5 Jr. Daulton Crouse, 5-10 Sr. Lane Brooks, and 6-0 Sr. Will Henderson. Paris coach Terrence Brooks countered with 6-2 So. Koebe Garrard, 6-2 Sr. Cameron Downey, 6-3 Jr. William O’Bryan, 5-8 So. James Clark, and 6-2 Jr. Jamaal Washington.
West Jessamine trailed 55-46 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Paris by a score of 60-58. There were 11 lead changes and eight ties in this game. West Jessamine shot 43.5% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line. The Colts connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Paris turnovers. Paris shot 40% from the field including seven of 23 from beyond the arc. The Greyhounds connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 West Jessamine turnovers.
Daulton Peters led west Jessamine with 14 points. Brooks Ely added 13 points. Dalton Crouse recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Koebe Garrard led Paris with 16 points, six rebounds, and three assists. 5-10 So. Jawane Dumphord added 12 points. Jawan Dumphord chipped in with 11 points and four rebounds. Jamaal Washington also scored 11 points.
