Lincoln County coach Jeff Jackson started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Jacob Conway, 6-1 Jr. Brandon Pittman, 6-2 Jr. Andrew Wilks, 5-9 Jr. Timmy Taylor, and 5-10 Jr. Neil Conley. Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Jr. Tanner Johnson, 6-3 Jr. Reese Ryan, 6-7 Sr. Robert Dence, 5-10 Jr. Michael Talbott, and 6-0 Sr. Jared Pippen.
Lincoln County hit their free throws down the stretch to defeat Lexington Catholic by a score of 64-60. Lincoln County shot 39% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. The Patriots connected on 27 of 37 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored four points off 11 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 43.8% from the field including seven of 22 from beyond the arc. The Knights connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Lincoln County turnovers.
Jacob Conway led Lincoln County with 25 points including 15 of 15 free throws and seven rebounds. 6-2 Sr. Kody Cornelius added 14 points and six rebounds. Timmy Taylor recorded nine points, five rebounds, and eight assists. Neil Conley also scored nine points.
Tanner Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 21 points including five three point baskets. Reese Ryan added 12 points and six assists. Michael Talbott recorded 11 points, six rebounds, five assists, and four steals. 6-2 Jr. Jarod Griffin chipped in with 10 points.
