Shelby County coach Michael Sowers started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Mackenzie Raizor, 6-1 Jr. Savannah Raizor, 6-0 So. Justus Martin, 5-7 Jr. Kate Hudgens, and 5-11 Sr. Nikki Simmons. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 6-0 Sr. Tereka Guyn, 5-6 Sr. Rachel Young, 6-0 Sr. Iman Guy, 5-6 Sr. Danielle DeFoor, and 5-7 Sr. Audriana Christopher.
Scott County defeated Shelby County by a score of 71-51. Scott County shot 36.8% from the field including nine of 25 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 12 of 12 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored five points off nine Shelby County turnovers. Shelby County shot 33.3% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Rockets connected on 12 of 24 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored four points off eight Scott County turnovers.
5-4 8th grader Peyton Riddle led Scott County with 17 points including five three point baskets. Tereka Guyn added 14 points, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots. Audriana Christopher recorded 12 points and five rebounds. 5-8 So. Bailey Hawkins chipped in with nine points on three three point baskets and Iman Guy pulled down eight rebounds.
Mackenzie Raizor led Shelby County with 17 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds. Justus Martin added eight points and eight rebounds. Savannah Raizor recorded six points and six rebounds.
