Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-6 So. Ross Jenkins, 6-4 Sr. Lance Blakley, 6-9 Sr. Jackson Davis, 5-11 Sr. Dequise Robinson, and 5-11 So. Harrison Lane.  Boyle County coach Steve Adams countered with 6-0 So. Josiah Robbins, 5-10 Jr. Chapman Bean, 6-6 So. Colton Elkins, 6-1 Sr. Clayton Ray, and 6-2 Jr. Hagen Tyler.

Boyle County defeated Lafayette tonight by a score of 71-60.  Boyle County led 37-36 at halftime and pulled away in the second half for the victory.  There were 14 lead changes and six ties in the game.  Jackson Davis was whistled for his third foul early in the third quarter and was limited to 17:54 minutes tonight.  Boyle County shot 45.5% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line.  The Rebels connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 37.7% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 Boyle County turnovers.

Hagen Tyler lit up the scoreboard for Boyle County tonight with 35 points including three three point baskets and 10 rebounds.  Colton Elkins added eight points, eight rebounds, and seven blocked shots.  Chapman Bean recorded eight points, five rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 19 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  6-1 Jr. Lucky Jackson added 10 points, six rebounds, and four steals.  Dequise Robinson chipped in with nine points and Ross Jenkins recorded six points and eight rebounds.
