Russell County coach Willie Feldhaus started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Alex Turner, 6-1 Sr. Brenan Coffey, 6-6 Jr. Nick Coffey, 6-0 Fr. Kel Stotts, and 6-1 Sr. Blake Ellis.  Allen County-Scottsville coach James Willett countered with 6-2 Sr. Madison Williams, 5-9 Sr. Caleb Simmons, 6-3 Sr. Evan Day, 5-8 Jr. Jake Sikes, and 5-6 Sr. Jared Walden.

Russell County led 53-52 after three quarters and pulled away in the final quarter for an 80-66 victory over Allen County-Scottsville.  The score was tied eight times and there were eight lead changes in the game.  Russell County shot 49% from the field including nine of 20 from the three point line.  The Lakers connected on 21 of 27 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 12 Allen County-Scottsville turnovers.  Allen County-Scottsville shot 44.4% from the field including six of 14 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored eight points off 14 Russell County turnovers.

Kel Stotts led Russell County with 28 points including five three point baskets.  Blake Ellis added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Brenan Coffey chipped in with 13 points and six rebounds.  Nick Coffey recorded 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Jared Walden led ACS with 23 points including three three point baskets.  Jake Sikes added 13 points.  6-5 Jr. Dyllan Harper recorded 11 points.
