Wayne County coach Allen Burchett started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Monica Hopper, 5-7 Sr. Jamie Roberts, 6-0 So. Bethany Peyton, 5-6 Jr. Tori Bell, and 5-7 Fr. Taylor Bell.  Henry Clay coach Eric Sanford countered with 5-9 Sr. Kamari Boyd, 5-9 Jr. Kerrigan Davis, 5-10 Sr. Areanna Porter, 5-6 So. T’Laya Lyvers, and 5-6 Jr. Nakyira Joyce.

Henry Clay defeated Wayne County by a score of 61-41.  Henry Clay shot 41.7% from the field including two of six from the three point line.  The Lady Blue Devils connected on nine of 19 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 32 Wayne County turnovers.  Wayne County shot 44.4% from the field including one of seven from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 18 Henry Clay turnovers.  Wayne County attempted 33 less shots (60-27) from the field than Henry Clay.

T’Laya Lyvers led Henry Clay with 24 points, six rebounds, and six steals.  5-6 Jr. Kennedy Coney added 12 points.  Kamari Boyd recorded eight points, nine rebounds, and three steals.

Bethany Peyton led Wayne County with eight points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Jamie Roberts added six points, five rebounds, and three assists.  6-4 Sr. Taylor Alexander also recorded six points.
