Sayre coach Rob Goodman started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Henry Wolf, 6-3 sr. Martin Durmov, 6-6 Jr. Quinn Pergande, 6-0 So. Alex Webb, and 6-2 Sr. Justin Sanders.  Western Hills coach Geoff Cody countered with 6-2 Sr. ZhaVaughn Reed, 6-0 Sr. Korey Waller, 6-3 Sr. Kyle Fisher, 5-11 Sr. Macauley Hurst, and 5-11 Sr. Chase Mahoney.

Justin Sanders hit a field goal with 10 seconds left on the clock to give Sayre a 68-67 overtime victory over Western Hills.  5-9 So. Keaton Anderson hit a field goal with seven seconds left in regulation to allow Western Hills to tie the game at 52-52 and force overtime.  The score was tied six times and there were seven lead changes in the game.

Sayre shot 48.9% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on 20 of 35 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 21 western hills turnovers.  Western Hills shot 41.8% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Wolverines connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 26 Sayre turnovers.

Justin Sanders led Sayre with 37 points including three three point baskets, 10 rebounds, and three steals.  Quinn Pergande added 11 points.  Alex Webb chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.  Martin Durmov recorded eight points and five rebounds.

Macauley Hurst led Western Hills with 14 points and four steals.  ZhaVaughn Reed added 13 points and four rebounds.  Chase Mahoney chipped in with nine points and six rebounds.  Keaton Anderson recorded eight points and four rebounds.
