Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Tereka Guyn, 5-6 Sr. Rachel Young, 6-0 Sr. Iman Guy, 5-6 Sr. Audriana Christopher, and 5-7 Sr. Danielle DeFoor.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Sarah Bridenbaugh countered with 6-0 Sr. Jordan Thomas, 5-7 Sr. Alisha Jones, 6-2 Sr. Brooke Todd, 5-7 Sr. Sydney Grant, and 5-4 Sr. ShaKeema Jackson.

Scott County held a 50-37 advantage in rebounds and took advantage of Dunbar’s anemic 25% field goal shooting to earn a 65-51 victory.  Scott County shot 49% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 50 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 25% from the field including two of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 17 of 30 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Scott County turnovers.

Audriana Christopher led Scott County with 22 points and five rebounds.  Rachel Young added nine points.  Tereka Guyn and Iman Guy each recorded eight points and 15 rebounds.

5-4 So. Ezzy Ighodaro led Dunbar with 20 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.  ShaKeema Jackson added 15 points including two three point baskets.  Brooke Todd recorded six points, seven rebounds, and eight blocked shots.  Alisha Jones chipped in with eight points and four rebounds.
